As an Integration Specialist, you will play a vital role in our Smart Integration team, focusing on Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and API development. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving successful end-to-end integration projects, ensuring seamless connectivity between Oracle SaaS and third-party systems. You will collaborate closely with business and technical teams, leveraging your strong understanding of integration patterns and adapter utilization. Your responsibilities will also include implementing robust error handling and monitoring mechanisms, optimizing performance for high-volume integrations, and designing and managing REST and SOAP APIs. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing sessions, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end integration projects using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and other iPaaS tools.
  • Develop and maintain integrations with Oracle SaaS (ERP, HCM, SCM) and third-party systems.
  • Create and manage REST/SOAP APIs, data mappings, and error handling flows.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams for requirement gathering and testing.
  • Ensure integration solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Implement robust error handling, logging, and exception recovery mechanisms.
  • Tuning high-volume and long-running integrations for optimal performance.
  • Design and manage REST and SOAP APIs, incorporating OAuth2 and other security policies.
  • Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and lead technical workshops.
  • Stay updated with the latest integration technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in integration development, preferably with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns, including sync/async, pub-sub, and event-driven models.
  • Proficiency in using OIC Adapters (REST, SOAP, DB, FTP, ERP, HCM, etc.).
  • Experience in API development, with knowledge of OAuth2 and other security protocols.
  • Familiarity with migrating integrations from SOA/OSB to OIC is an advantage.
  • Exposure to cross-platform integrations with Salesforce, SAP, Workday, or AWS.
  • Knowledge of other iPaaS tools like Dell Boomi or MuleSoft Apps is desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on performance optimization.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
