The Role
As a Specialist Instrumentation Engineer with Worley,you will work closely with our existing team to deliver projects for our clients while continuing to develop your skills and experience etc.
- As a Senior Safety Critical Instrumentation/Reliability Specialist - Operations and Maintenance at Worley, you play a pivotal role as a subject matter expert (SME) in a specialized discipline within our global organization.
- Your expertise will be crucial in collaborating with end users to develop industry leading Inspection, Testing and Preventative Maintenance planning for all types of instrumented assets.
- You will be recognized both within and outside the organization, operating at a regional to global level.
About You
To be considered for this role it is envisaged you will possess the following attributes:
- Possesses an expert level of competency in Reliability of safety critical instrumentation and automated valve assemblies, with field experience at operating facilities.
- Holds a 4 or 5-year technical degree in science or engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Hold or willing to obtain a valid certification and or certificate in Functional Safety (IEC-61511) issued by one or more of the following programs Exida (CFSP/CFSE), ISA(SFS), T V Rheinland (FSEng), T V SUD (FSP).
- Brings a wealth of experience, typically 10+ years, showcasing a strong background in Operations Maintenance, preferably in the refining or petro-chemical process industries.
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge of regulations, codes, manufacturing standards, and industry practices, aligning with Worleys commitment to delivering sustainable change.
- Demonstrates a reasonable understanding of the SIS life-cyclee.g., SIL verification and calculations. SRS, FSMP, SIS maintenance procedures.
- Demonstrates knowledge of IEC-61511, IEC-61508, ISA TR84.00.02, ISA TR84.00.03, ISA TR96.05.01 as well other related standards and good practices.
