About the Role:

The Team: Be part of aGlobal Record to Report (R2R)organization and collaborate across:

  • Domestic and international retained staff, third parties, and offshore partners

  • All global business units, Technology teams, and the Controller's organization

  • Intercompany, Business Finance, Controllers, AP, and OTC teams

Key Responsibilities

Monthly Close Monitoring & Oversight (Daily during close):

  • Monitor theGL Journal Approval Pendingreport and follow up for timely approvals

  • Monitor theSuspense Account Analysisreport and drive timely resolution

  • Monitor theUnposted (Journal in Progress)report and perform review/analysis

  • Monitor theExternal Interfacereport to ensure successful upstream/downstream processing

  • PerformTreasury to Oracle GL rate verificationanalysis

Manual Journals & Support:

  • Assist withuploading Oracle General Ledger manual journalsduring critical close days (Oracle Fusion)

  • Provide guidance to journal preparers onjournal preparation and error analysis

  • Assist in reviews for accuracy of journal entries and accounting classifications assigned.

Reconciliations (Workday 6 to Workday 12):

  • Perform assignedGL controls reconciliationsand complete within reconciliation deadlines

  • Partner closely with Business Finance/Controller's teams to ensure reconciliations meetreconciliation policy requirements

  • Coordinate with account owners to clear reconciling items on a timely basis and provide audit support related to reconciliations

  • Proactively identify aging items and drive closure, escalating risks/issues as needed

Audit, Controls & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Support internal and external audit requests related toOracle General Ledger controls

  • Work closely with thetechnical teamto confirm GL controls are functioning and support testing for Oracle enhancements/projects

  • Ensure adherence to accounting, audit, and systems controls and procedures in compliance withcorporate policies and SOX controls

Ways of Working / Professional Expectations:

  • Work independently with strong ownership and accountability understand when to escalate issues

  • Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced close environment while maintaining a high degree of accuracy

  • Communicate clearly (written and verbal) with global stakeholders and third parties across levels

  • Provide backfill coverage and support to other accountants in the team

  • May take a leading role in projects/initiatives, including automation and Lean Six Sigma efforts (Lean Six Sigma).

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ yearsof accounting and reconciliation experience (required)

  • College-levelaccounting degree/MBA/InterCA(preferred)

  • Experience withOracle Fusionand system maintenance (preferred).

  • Working knowledge of reconciliation tools (experience withBlackLine,ARCS or any tool.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, especiallyOutlook, Excel, Access, and Word.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills able to collaborate globally with internal and external customers

  • Comfort working with offshore partners and across time zones

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to resolve issues timely and efficiently while ensuringSOX compliance

  • Proactive follow-up mindset ability to manage heavy workload, shifting priorities, and deadlines.

Shift & Location

  • Primary Shift:EMEA shift (2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST)

  • Flexibility Requirement:Must be able toswitch to US working hours as needed, based on business requirements, close schedule, and support coverage. Overtime may be required when there is a strong business need.
