Description
We are seeking a Specialist-General Ledger Accounting to join our finance team in India. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience in general ledger accounting, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and proficiency in accounting software. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end closing processes, and collaborating with internal teams for audits and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support audits and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and variances.
- Assist in the implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3-4 years of experience in general ledger accounting or related roles.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Tally) and MS Excel.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
