We are embarking on an exciting new chapter extending our Equity Capital Markets (ECM) franchise to India. While DBS has well-established ECM capabilities across key Asian markets like Singapore, Hong Kong, Greater China, and Southeast Asia, this presents a unique opportunity to be part of building something transformative from the ground up within a rapidly evolving market.

Responsibilities:

• Support the ECM team in extending the bank's equity market franchise into the vibrant India market.
• Assist in preparing client presentations and proposals.
• Contribute to the ECM transaction lifecycle, including documentation, due diligence, valuation, and financial modelling processes, ensuring seamless execution and timely delivery.
• Ensure high standards of compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

• We are seeking self-driven individuals with a willingness to learn, grow, and contribute to building a successful business franchise.
• Relevant experience of 10-15 years
• Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting, economics, or a related field; CAs are preferred
• Foundational understanding of corporate finance principles and project management skills to support deliverables and timelines.
• Genuine interest in and aptitude for understanding companies and stocks, fundamental analysis, financial statements and valuation
• Basic knowledge and understanding of financial markets, capital markets business and products, and ECM workflows.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and good knowledge on usage of Bloomberg
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with diverse stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
