Key Responsibilities:
- Electrical Equipment Inspections & Operations:
- Ensure periodical inspection and daily operations of electrical equipment such as Transformers, UPS, DG, Electrical panels, lifts, etc., as per SOPs and EHS standards.
- Ensure that operations conform to standards and customer requirements by preparing electrical systems specifications.
- Conduct daily checks for indoor HT panel, DGs, Main LT panel, 110V battery charger panel, RTCC, Transformers, and related equipment.
- Monitor energy meter readings, transformer oil temperature, winding temperature, and load details.
- Conduct daily checks for kitchen equipment, LSS systems, and gas leak detection systems.
- Monitor and maintain water tank levels and lighting systems, including street lights and terrace lights.
- Incident Management & Fault Restoration:
- Knowledge of incident management and root cause analysis (RCA) of equipment failures.
- Ensure the correct escalation procedure is followed for any incidents or abnormalities.
- Provide support for fault restoration in electrical systems and equipment.
- Preventive Maintenance & Improvements:
- Implement improvements in electrical instruments, components, and systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to maintain operational efficiency and compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain logbooks, checklists, and perform periodic inspections for all installations.
- Energy Management & Reporting:
- Implement energy-saving plans as per targets shared by clients.
- Maintain reports and dashboards related to existing and potential electrical engineering projects.
- Log readings and maintain reports for electrical systems including UPS and HSD systems.
- Training & Development:
- Participate and conduct in-house and OEM training sessions for staff and vendors.
- Ensure team members are well-versed in operating and maintaining electrical systems and equipment.
- Collaboration & Shift Management:
- Work with multiple teams across different shifts to ensure smooth operations of electrical systems.
- Independently handle shift responsibilities for electrical operations, ensuring compliance with procedures and safety standards.
- Vendor & Customer Service:
- Handle vendor relationships effectively and ensure compliance with service agreements.
- Demonstrate customer service focus, ensuring efficient service delivery to clients.
Key Competencies & Experience:
- Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in facility management and electrical operations.
- Relevant qualifications: ITI (10 years), Diploma (5 years), or BE (3 years).
- Industrial experience is preferred, with at least 2 years in a relevant electrical maintenance role.
- Technical Knowledge:
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems including HT/LT panels, transformers, UPS, DG sets, and related equipment.
- Familiarity with BMS systems and energy-saving initiatives.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices and incident management.
- Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office and email communication.
- Good communication skills in English (local language proficiency is a plus).
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies.
