Role: Specialist- Data Privacy
Location: Noida / Pune
Educational Qualification: University degree in Computer Science/IT
Experience : 3-5Years
Role & responsibilities:
- Promote a culture of data protection compliance across all units of the organization.
- Ensure that the company's policies and procedures are in accordance with Privacy laws across globe.
- Devise training plans and provide data protection advice and support across organization.
- Collaborate with business units to identify solutions to minimize data privacy risks and communicates the company's position on data privacy to key stakeholders.
- Provide support for data inventories, Data Flow Diagrams, DPIA etc.
- Assist in handling DSAR requests and privacy incidents.
- Assist in delivering privacy and data protection related communications and training internally at Birlasoft.
- Review privacy controls and assist in Privacy Audits & Assessments.
- To review MSA/DPA's and RFPs from privacy standpoint.
- Perform periodic third-party Risk Assessments.
- Monitor the industry landscape to keep visibility on evolutions, trends, and best practices related to Data Privacy.
Qualification:
- Interested to work in Domain of Data Privacy & Security.
- Basic understanding of Data Protection and Data Privacy Laws.
- Proactive, positive, and energetic; can-do attitude a must.
- Ability to engage confidently with stakeholders.
- Knowledge about the following standards/regulations is a plus – GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, ISO, NIST etc.
- Privacy or compliance training/certification is an added advantage (optional).
