Role:
We are looking for a Vertical Specialist (Account Strategy) to join our Financial Services or Pharmaceutical vertical team. This cross-functional role has exposure to all aspects of the business.You will be responsible for collaborating externally with brands to help them achieve their marketing objectives and internally with other vertical team members to set up and manage campaigns from start to finish.
You will work with a close-knit vertical industry team consisting of six to twelve members who focus on complementary functional areas including client partnerships, creative, mid-funnel, campaign, market, and supply strategies.You will be accountable to the team, and all team members are expected to learn facets of other functional areas so they can better see the big picture, be more strategic, and work together as a more effective team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and grow rapport with day-to-day client contacts, agencies, and direct prospects, communicating regularly with them regarding campaign optimizations and results, strategies, and incremental opportunities
- Learn to own campaign lifecycle from launch to renewal, performance analysis, and reporting
- Develop market expertise in specific vertical industries as well as broader marketing and digital advertising trends, and leverage this to develop and strategize ways to help grow our client's businesses
- Develop strategic solutions for well-known brands and create presentations that identify the campaign's successes and challenges and present it in a compelling way.
- Manage our clients video/digital advertising campaigns and serve as a consultant to them on advertising strategy, marketing challenges, and revenue growth.
- Serve as a creative consultant by providing brands with creative campaign recommendations and strategies.
- Develop market expertise in specific vertical industries as well as broader marketing and digital advertising trends, and leverage this to develop and strategize ways to help grow our client's businesses
- In collaboration with team members and other stakeholders, learn to produce insights and help develop new products, solutions, and strategies for specific vertical industries
- Contribute and lead initiatives as a member a vertical team. You will cross train and learn facets of campaign execution and technology with these team members, building a well-rounded and diverse skillset
Qualifications:
- If experienced candidate, two-plus years of ad agency, digital media buying, or digital advertising experience is preferred
- If experienced candidate, some experience working with brands to run effective marketing campaigns is preferred
- If fresher, basic understanding of the digital advertising industry, its competitors, and its industry terms is preferred
- Ability to listen to clients, understand their challenges, and help them grow their business
- Ability to build and grow relationships through polished communication, strong organization, eagerness to solve problems, and strict attention to detail
- Some understanding of 3rd party ad serving and reporting systems including DCM, Sizmek, Flashtalking, as well as the ability to analyze and showcase data in Excel and other MS Office programs
- Some advertising and marketing experience and a passion for advertising and marketing is preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with ability to build rapport with external and internal stakeholders. Strong ability to listen in conversations with stakeholders

- Flexibility to work different shift hours (General: 9 a.m. 6 p.m./10 a.m. 7 p.m., UK: 2 p.m. 11 p.m., EST: 5 p.m. 2 a.m.)
