Position OverviewWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Special Educator to join Twinklezz Educational Trust. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering individualized educational programs that empower students with diverse learning needs. You will play a pivotal role in our mission to bridge educational gaps and foster an inclusive environment where every learner can thrive.
Key Responsibilities· Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Assess students abilities and challenges to develop, implement, and monitor customized IEPs tailored to their academic and behavioural goals.
· Instructional Delivery: Adapt general curricula to meet the needs of students, utilizing multi-sensory teaching techniques and assistive technologies.
· Progress Tracking: Maintain detailed records of student development and adjust teaching strategies based on data and formal assessments.
· Classroom Management: Create a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment that encourages student engagement and independence.
· Collaboration: Work closely with parents, therapists, and the administrative team to ensure a holistic approach to student support.
· Advocacy: Act as an advocate for inclusive practices, ensuring students have the resources and accommodations necessary for success.
Qualifications & Skills· Education: Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education (B.Ed./M.Ed. Special Education) or a related field.
· Certification: Valid RCI (Rehabilitation Council of India) registration is preferred.
· Experience: Prior experience working with children or young adults with diverse learning requirements (e.g., ASD, ADHD, LD, or ID).
· Soft Skills:
o Exceptional patience and empathy.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
o Creative problem-solving abilities and adaptability.
· Technical Proficiency: Ability to use educational software and data management tools for reporting.
