Special Education Teacher

This is a full-time remote role for a Special Education Teacher at Poper. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for working with students with disabilities in a middle school setting. Daily tasks include teaching, communication with students and parents, and creating tailored education plans.

• Experience in Special Education and Teaching middle school students
• Skills in Disabilities and Communication
• Strong understanding of individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience and empathy in working with students with disabilities
• Knowledge of assistive technologies is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or related field
