Spanish Translator

We are seeking a skilled Spanish Translator to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both Spanish and English and will be responsible for translating a variety of documents while ensuring accuracy and cultural appropriateness.

Responsibilities

• Translate written documents from Spanish to English and vice versa accurately and efficiently.
• Review and edit translations for clarity, context, and cultural relevance.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent terminology and style across projects.
• Assist in the localization of content for various media formats, including websites, marketing materials, and legal documents.
• Conduct research to ensure translations are contextually and culturally appropriate.

Skills and Qualifications

• Fluent in both Spanish and English, with excellent written communication skills in both languages.
• 6-10 years of experience in professional translation, preferably in a corporate environment or translation agency.
• Strong understanding of Spanish-speaking cultures and regional dialects.
• Proficiency in translation software and tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ).
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in translation, linguistics, or a related field is preferred.
