Job Description

As a Spa Therapist at Marriott International, you'll be key to creating a serene and welcoming environment for our guests. You'll provide comprehensive spa orientations, ensure the cleanliness of all spa areas, and deliver exceptional service to enhance their overall well-being.

Candidate Profile

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
  • No related work experience required.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • No license or certification required.

Core Work Activities

Guest Experience & Service

  • Provides general spa orientation to guests upon arrival, including locker rooms, lounge areas, and hospitality stations.
  • Offers guests amenities such as water, juice, or heated neck pillows.
  • Answers questions about general property information and amenities.
  • Escorts guests to and from treatment rooms.
  • Anticipates and addresses guests service needs; thanks guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Speaks with others using clear and professional language.

Operational Support & Maintenance

  • Checks the computer regularly for schedule updates and changes throughout the day.
  • Maintains cleanliness of workstation, treatment rooms, spa/salon locker room, and lounge areas.
  • Disposes of trash and dirty linens in the proper area.
  • Secures supplies and equipment at the end of each shift.
  • Stocks towels, linens, supplies, and amenities in the locker room, lounge areas, and hospitality stations.

Compliance & Physical Requirements

  • Reports accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager; completes safety training and certifications.
  • Follows all company policies and procedures; ensures uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; protects company assets.
  • Develops and maintains positive working relationships with others.
  • Complies with quality assurance expectations and standards.
  • Reaches, bends, twists, pulls, and stoops; moves, lifts, or carries objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds; stands, sits, or walks for an extended period.
  • Performs other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
