SP3D Administrator - IQ/PR/02

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong expertise in Intergraph SmartPlant 3D (SP3D) administration and piping modeling.
• Working knowledge of SmartPlant Foundation (SPF) and SmartPlant Reference Data (SPRD).
• Good understanding of piping components, materials, and relevant standards (ASME, ASTM, API) and design practices.
• Ability to set up and maintain SP3D projects, including project structure, specifications, catalogs, and reference data.
• Manage user access, roles, and permissions in coordination with IT and discipline leads.
• Configure and troubleshoot model databases, perform backups and restoration.
• Proficiency in clash management, model management, and database troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with AVEVA tools, Navisworks, or similar software will be an advantage.
• Develop 3D piping models in SP3D based on P&IDs, equipment layouts, and project specifications.
• Route process and utility piping ensuring compliance with design standards and constructability requirements.
• Perform clash checks and resolve interferences through coordination with other disciplines.
• Generate isometric drawings, general arrangement drawings, and material take-offs from SP3D.
• Support project model reviews (30%, 60%, 90%) and incorporate review comments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in piping design, including at least 3 years in SP3D Administration.
