Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Delhi for a South Indian Chef. The responsibilities include preparing high-quality South Indian cuisine, managing kitchen operations, maintaining hygienic standards, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The chef will also oversee ingredient selection, food presentation, and inventory management. Collaborating with the hospitality team to deliver an exceptional dining experience is a key aspect of this role. Mostly plays the Head Chef role.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in South Indian cuisine both Veg and Non-Veg, including the preparation of traditional dishes and understanding of authentic flavors.
  • Skills in food safety, kitchen management, and maintaining hygiene standards.
  • Experience in menu planning, recipe development, Recipe costing and food presentation techniques.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with the hospitality team.
  • Prior work experience in a professional kitchen or hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Culinary degree or equivalent certifications in professional cooking are an advantage.
