Job Title: Chef Consultant

Location: Ahmedabad (with travel to project sites if required)

Role Overview

Sindbad Consulting is looking for a Chef Consultant who can combine culinary creativity with operational discipline. The role involves developing menus, standardizing recipes, ensuring food quality, and supporting restaurants during their setup and operational phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop menus aligned with the restaurant concept and target audience
• Create and document standardized recipes with costing and portion control
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation standards
• Assist in kitchen planning, workflow, and equipment selection
• Conduct kitchen staff training and trial runs before launch
• Develop kitchen SOPs, prep processes, and documentation
• Support pre-opening setup and menu execution
• Review dishes and optimize menu based on cost, efficiency, and guest feedback

Ideal Candidate

• Strong culinary knowledge with hands-on kitchen experience
• Ability to translate ideas into structured recipes and systems
• Understanding of food costing and kitchen operations
• Experience in restaurant openings or consulting preferred
