Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Sous Chef located in Gurugram. The Sous Chef will assist the Head Chef in managing the kitchen, supervising kitchen staff, and ensuring efficient daily operations. Responsibilities include preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining hygiene and safety standards, menu planning, inventory management, and staff mentorship. The role involves collaborating with the culinary team to deliver exceptional dining experiences while maintaining consistency and quality in all food preparations.

Qualifications

  • Profound expertise in culinary techniques, food preparation, and a variety of culinary styles
  • Experience in menu planning, inventory management, and maintaining kitchen hygiene standards
  • Strong leadership, staff training, and team collaboration skills
  • Understanding of ingredients, food safety, and storage regulations
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment and adapt to dynamic demands
  • Formal culinary training or certification is preferred
  • Prior experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role is highly desirable
