We are seeking a proactive and market-savvy Sourcing and Procurement Manager who will identify, evaluate, and source high-potential products from the market that can be branded and sold under our new private-label brand. This role requires strong understanding of market trends, vendor management, product quality evaluation, and negotiation to ensure the company launches competitive and profitable products.
Key Responsibilities
Product Sourcing (Private Label / Brand Development)
Identify trending, in-demand, or high-margin products from local and international markets that can be introduced under our brand.
Conduct product benchmarking, competitor analysis, and feasibility studies.
Work with vendors to customize or modify products if required.
Vendor Identification & Management
Develop a strong supplier base across multiple markets (local manufacturers, wholesalers, OEM suppliers, and exporters).
Conduct supplier audits based on quality, capacity, pricing, and reliability.
Negotiate pricing, MOQs, lead times, payment terms, and private-label agreements.
Procurement & Cost Management
Ensure best cost-quality balance through strategic negotiation.
Prepare cost sheets and pricing models for private-label products.
Manage purchasing budgets and ensure profitability of each sourced product.
Product Development Coordination
Collaborate with design, branding, and packaging teams for logo, label, and packaging creation.
Ensure product specifications, packaging, and branding meet regulatory and company standards.
Coordinate with QA teams for product testing, certifications, and quality approvals.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Marketing, or related field.
2-3 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or buyingpreferably for private-label or branded products.
Strong understanding of retail markets, product trends, and supplier ecosystems.
Experience working with manufacturers, traders, and OEM suppliers.
Ability to travel for supplier visits and product research.
