Role Overview
We are looking for highperforming professionals to join our Sourcing & Procurement practice. The role involves driving value through cost reduction, process reengineering, and digital enablement across direct and indirect procurement. Candidates should bring strong functional expertise combined with handson implementation or consulting experience in leading organizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver cost reduction initiatives across direct and indirect spend categories.
- Re-engineer endtoend S2P processes, including sourcing, contracting, supplier management, P2P, and compliance.
- Drive procurement transformation projects across Auto, Auto Components, Consumer, EPC, Real Estate, or similar industries.
- Support/lead implementation of S2P digital platforms (Ariba, Ivalua, Coupa, GEP).
- Conduct data-driven opportunity assessments, benchmarking, and should-cost modelling.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (SCM, Finance, Operations, Engineering) to design and deploy improved procurement workflows.
- Develop client-ready presentations, proposals, and business cases with clear value articulation.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to practice development initiatives.
- Manage project governance, quality, timelines, and stakeholder communication (Manager / AD roles).
Required Experience
Candidates must meet one of the following criteria:
Industry Experience
Experience working in the procurement function of leading organizations in:
- Automotive / Auto Components
- Consumer / FMCG
- EPC / Infrastructure
- Real Estate / Manufacturing
- Or other complex, procurement-intensive industries
OR
Consulting Experience
- Experience delivering procurement transformation projects as part of Big 4 consulting firms (preferred).
Qualifications
- Engineering degree + MBA from TierI or equivalent institutions.
- Strong academic background combined with practical problemsolving capability.
- Preference will be given to candidates with Big 4 consulting experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Proven expertise in cost reduction across direct and indirect materials.
- Strong understanding of S2P processes and best practices.
- Exposure to S2P technology platforms:
- SAP Ariba
- Ivalua
- Coupa
- GEP
- Ability to structure and solve business problems analytically.
- Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
