Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically strong professional to join our sourcing and product development team. The ideal candidate will come from a buying house background, with extensive experience in garment production and sourcing. This role involves managing end-to-end coordination with international teams (especially Europe), overseeing local production processes, ensuring quality standards, and handling vendor relationships.

The candidate will also be responsible for leading and managing a team, driving efficiency, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sourcing & Product Development Coordination

Collaborate closely with the Europe team to align on product specifications, technical packs, and development timelines.

Translate design concepts into production-ready samples with accuracy.

Track and manage sample development, fittings, and approvals.

2. Local Production Oversight

Monitor production timelines and proactively address delays.

Ensure adherence to quality, fit, and finishing standards throughout production.

3. Vendor & Stock Management

Coordinate final inspections and approvals before stock acceptance.

Maintain strong vendor relationships and monitor vendor performance.

Manage documentation and reporting related to stock acceptance and production.

4. Team Management

Lead, mentor, and manage a team to ensure smooth workflow and productivity.

Allocate tasks, set targets, and monitor team performance.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration

Work closely with buying, merchandising, and quality teams.

Support troubleshooting of technical and production challenges.

Key Requirements

10+ years of experience in garment sourcing / product development.

Strong background in a buying house is mandatory.

In-depth knowledge of garment construction, production processes, and vendor management.

Proven experience in team handling and leadership.

Strong communication and coordination skills, especially with international teams.

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and timelines effectively
