Job Description

  • Lead and manage end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and purchase order execution.
  • Ensure on-time availability of materials to support production and project schedules and minimize production stoppages.
  • Drive PR to PO lead time reduction through process improvements and close coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement supplier sourcing strategies for cost, quality, delivery, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure all purchase orders are supported with back-up quotations, comparison sheets, and technical/commercial justifications as per company compliance requirements.
  • Lead supplier development and localization initiatives to improve competitiveness and supply reliability.
  • Manage and improve DIFOT (Delivery in Full On Time) performance of suppliers.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance reviews covering quality, delivery, responsiveness, and cost.
  • Support new product and project sourcing activities including technical discussions with suppliers and cross-functional teams.
  • Drive continuous improvement in cost reduction, lead time, quality cost, and supplier responsiveness.
  • Ensure repeat orders are aligned with approved pricing agreements and valid references.
  • Coordinate closely with production, engineering, quality, finance, and project teams to ensure alignment of procurement priorities.
  • Handle supplier issues including delivery delays, quality concerns, and invoice or documentation discrepancies.
  • Monitor and control procurement KPIs and present performance reports to management.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and audit requirements.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the procurement and purchasing team.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business (Master's preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience in procurement / supply chain within a manufacturing or project environment.
  • Strong experience in supplier development, localization, and strategic sourcing.
  • Proven experience in handling high-value and technically complex purchases.
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
  • Experience working with ERP / procurement systems
