exists because the sonic landscape of our content is what makes our shows
immersive. As a Sound Engineer, you will be the architect of our audio experience,
ensuring every show is polished, professional, and captivating.
What You'll Do
- Audio Production & Mixing
- Oversee end-to-end post-production for high-quality audio shows.
- Edit, mix, and master audio tracks to ensure clarity, consistency, and
professional broadcast standards.
- Implement sound design elements (foley, atmosphere, music cues) to enhance
storytelling and immersion.
- Quality Assurance
- Maintain a consistent Kuku FM sonic identity across all shows.
- Troubleshoot and resolve audio issues (background noise, inconsistent levels,
recording quality).
- Collaborate with Creative Producers to ensure the final audio output matches
the creative vision.
- Workflow Optimization
- Develop and maintain efficient editing workflows to meet production timelines.
- Manage audio asset libraries, including sound effects, royalty-free music, and
templates.
Who You Are
- 3–5 years of experience in sound engineering, preferably in audiobooks,
podcasts, radio, or OTT media.
- Proficient with industry-standard DAWs (e.g., Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Logic
Pro).
- Strong understanding of audio signal flow, EQ, compression, and mastering
techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects
simultaneously.
- A passion for storytelling and a keen ear for audio detail.
