Job Description

Job Title: Sound Engineer Intern (0–1 Year Experience) Working Days & Timings

  • Weekly Off: Monday
  • Standard Timings: 11:00 AM – 8:00 PM
  • Flexibility: Working hours may extend based on bookings or sessions
  • Note: Evening and weekend availability is required

Role Summary

The Junior Sound Engineer will support the day-to-day operations of the jam room, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for musicians and bands. This is an entry-level, hands-on role ideal for someone looking to build a career in sound engineering while gaining practical exposure to live setups and studio environments.

Key Responsibilities1. Jam Room Support & Basic Operations

  • Assist in setting up instruments, microphones, and basic sound equipment.
  • Support sound checks and ensure all equipment is functioning properly before sessions.
  • Help maintain good sound quality during jam sessions under guidance.
  • Assist in basic troubleshooting of audio issues.

2. Equipment Handling & Maintenance

  • Help in organizing and maintaining microphones, cables, mixers, and amplifiers.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of equipment.
  • Report any faults or damage to senior team members.

3. Session Coordination Support

  • Assist in preparing the jam room before and after each session.
  • Support in managing session schedules and basic coordination with clients.
  • Help ensure sessions run on time and smoothly.

4. Learning & Development

  • Learn about sound mixing, signal flow, and live sound setup.
  • Gain hands-on experience with PA systems and studio equipment.
  • Support senior engineers during live sessions and projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Basic understanding of sound equipment (microphones, mixers, speakers).
  • Strong interest in music, bands, and live sound environments.
  • Willingness to learn and grow in the sound engineering field.
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
