As a Solutions Engineer at Refold, you'll be at the front line of helping SaaS companies integrate faster, smarter, and more reliably. You'll work directly with engineering teams at customer companies, understand complex integration workflows, and help architect solutions using Refold's platform. This role blends technical depth with customer empathy and is ideal for engineers who love solving real-world problems with immediate business impact.
Responsibilities
- Build workflows in Cobalt to orchestrate data flow and API calls across systems.
- Convert technical requirements into reliable, production-ready implementations.
- Support pre-sales with product expertise and quick proof-of-concept builds.
- Partner with product and engineering to inform the roadmap based on real-world usage.
- Onboard and train customers to get the most out of Cobalt.
- Act as a technical escalation point post-launch to debug and optimise workflows.
- Document reusable solutions to streamline future deployments.
Requirements
- 3-6 years in a solutions engineering, pre-sales, or technical consulting role in a SaaS, data, or AI company.
- Strong hands-on experience with APIs, data integration, or full-stack development (Node.js, Python, or similar).
- Proven ability to build demo environments, prototypes, or integrations that highlight product value.
- Comfort with AI/ML concepts, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), and tools like Docker or Kubernetes.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to talk to both engineers and business leaders.
