Job Scope:
We are looking for a Solution Architect with 8+ years of experience in a solutions engineering.
Total /Relevant Experience:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and Propose Cloud architecture using opensource Cloud orchestrator (Primarily CloudStack), Virtualization and automation technology in a complex multi-tenant environment.
- Proactively engage with customers and prospects to demonstrate our solutions and effectively communicate the key differentiators.
- To set the stage for successful implementation by assisting customers with initial product evaluations and testing.
- Connecting the dots between the technical requirements of a project and the business requirements is elemental to the success of this position.
- Respond to RFIs or RFPs, communicating the Product's differentiators.
- Prepare and deliver differentiated solution presentations or technical proposals.
- Manage and/or deliver technical validation activities including Proof Of Concepts.
- Build relationships, enable and work with our partners to find and realize opportunities.
Must-have skill:
- Experience with the implementation of cloud solutions in an enterprise environment.
- Thorough understanding of Cloud Technologies & Concepts, working knowledge in atleast one of the leading Private Cloud Platforms like VCloud, OpenStack, CloudStack etc.
- Thorough understanding of Virtualization concepts of the leading hypervisors (ESXi/KVM).
- Thorough understanding of container technologies, especially Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of network and application security, infrastructure hardening, security baselines, web server, and database security.
- Knowledge of other enterprise products and solutions like Storage, Security and Compute solutions.
- Excellent written communication skills, experience of preparing technical proposals, RFP responses and BoQs.
- High Excellent presentation skills and composure in front of all levels of technical and business customers or prospects.
- Ability to work within a dynamic and fast paced international environment.
- Proven experience of managing Proof of Concept activities for customers in the Cloud Domain.
- Takes responsibility for projects and strategic initiatives.
- Strive for standardization and simplification in all aspects of work
Qualifications Criteria:
- Relevant bachelor's degree.
- 7 plus years of experience
