About the Job:
Tonik Bank is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Solution Architect to join our team and play a pivotal role in shaping our cutting-edge banking systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microservices, Event-Driven Architecture, and Serverless architecture, and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable and resilient software solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Architectural Design: Develop and maintain a comprehensive architectural strategy for Tonik Bank, focusing on Microservices, Event-Driven, and Serverless architecture. Define and document architectural patterns, best practices, and guidelines.
- Solution Design: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and stakeholders, to understand business requirements and design technical solutions. Create detailed system designs, ensuring adherence to best practices in microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Microservices & Event-Driven Architecture: Design and implement Microservices that are highly scalable, reliable, and maintainable. Define event-driven communication patterns and message brokering systems to support real-time data processing and integration.
- Serverless Architecture: Lead the adoption of serverless computing technologies, including AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, or Google Cloud Functions. Design serverless components for cost-effective, auto-scaling solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide development teams in the adoption of best practices in microservices and serverless architecture. Provide technical leadership in identifying and resolving architectural challenges.
- Performance and Scalability: Ensure that the solutions meet performance, scalability, and availability requirements. Continuously monitor and optimize system performance to maintain high-quality service levels.
- Security and Compliance: Collaborate with the security and compliance teams to ensure that the architecture and solutions meet regulatory and security standards.
- Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, and make recommendations for innovation and improvement.
Preferred Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on Microservices, Event-Driven, and Serverless architecture.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Excellent understanding of RESTful APIs, message queuing, and event-driven patterns.
- Proficiency in software design principles and patterns.
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect) is a plus.
