In this role, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-native data platforms, driving measurable business outcomes for enterprise clients. You will work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions. Your expertise in platforms like Snowflake, AWS, and Azure will guide critical technical decisions while ensuring operational excellence and platform reliability. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic consulting, enabling clients to maximize the value of their data ecosystems. You will mentor junior engineers, influence best practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across multiple engagements. The position offers both autonomy and visibility, making a direct impact on client success and long-term platform adoption.
Accountabilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of large-scale cloud data platforms on Snowflake, AWS, and Azure.
- Guide teams through data migration, integration, and platform performance optimization.
- Identify opportunities for automation, performance improvement, and operational efficiency across client platforms.
- Ensure robust data security and governance standards are implemented and maintained.
- Act as a strategic advisor, managing multiple client engagements to optimize ROI and platform adoption.
- Partner with sales, engineering, and support teams to ensure seamless project delivery and high customer satisfaction.
- Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience in solutions architecture, designing, implementing, and managing enterprise cloud-native data platforms.
- Proven experience with Snowflake, Redshift, Azure Data Warehouse, and associated cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure), including tools like S3, ADLS, Kinesis, Data Factory, DBT, and Kafka.
- Strong client-facing skills with experience presenting solutions and creating detailed technical documentation for executive stakeholders.
- Expertise in SQL, data integration tools (e.g., Matillion, Fivetran, Spark), and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps best practices, and platform automation.
- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills to optimize system performance and operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications preferred.
- Preferred: Snowflake SnowPro Core certification, Python proficiency, and experience with automated deployment frameworks (Flyway, Liquibase).
