Required Experience & Expertise
- Experience: 12+ years of overall IT experience, including 4+ years as a solution architect.
- Platform Proficiency: Proven ability to architect and build solutions in one or more of the following ecosystems and sub-ecosystems:
- .NET ecosystem: .NET Core, ASP.NET, Entity Framework
- Java ecosystem: Spring Boot, Microservices, Maven/Gradle
- Cloud ecosystem: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, AWS
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery, Design & Development
- Provide solution architecture leadership across all phases of software design patterns, principles (SOLID, OOPS), practices, and SDLC methodologies.
- Define software/hardware architecture types including microservices, monolithic, event-driven, and service-based architectures.
- Hands-on involvement in Proof of Concepts (PoCs) and pilots.
- Cloud platform expertise (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their relevant services for compute, networking, storage, and security.
- Database expertise: RDBMS (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, CosmosDB, DynamoDB).
- Integration: REST, SOAP, GraphQL APIs, message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus).
- DevOps & CI/CD: pipelines and tools including Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
- Security: Implementation of security best practices, data security principles, and common vulnerability assessments.
- Architecture & Technical Knowledge
- Define architecture roadmaps, strategies, and reference architectures.
- Conduct architecture and design reviews, ensuring compliance with enterprise standards.
- Support migration and modernization initiatives.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend new tools and approaches.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams.
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) or architectural frameworks are preferred.
