Job Description

At Fieldproxy, we're building the next generation of powerful field service management solutions - complex operations software built for efficiency and customization.

We're looking for a Solutions Architect who can bridge the gap between our customers unique business needs and our platform capabilities.

Role Overview

As a Solutions Architect, you will work closely with clients to understand their workflows, identify their requirements, and configure our platform to deliver custom solutions to clients in days. You'll leverage existing core models, configure client accounts using JSON and PostgreSQL, and ensure successful deployment and adoption.

This is a highly cross-functional role, requiring strong communication skills, an in-depth understanding of databases, SQL, JSON structures, technical knowledge of complex system configuration, and a customer-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients to gather and analyze requirements for advanced field service solutions.
  • Configure and customize the Field Service Application to meet specific client specifications.
  • Possess an understanding of SQL/PostgreSQL and databases to design and implement client data structures.
  • Work with the underlying platform models to optimize outputs and align them with client-specific needs.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to scope technical feasibility and drive implementation.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, explaining system capabilities in simple, actionable terms.
  • Continuously test, validate, and improve system workflows to ensure high-quality performance.
  • Document configurations, best practices, and client solutions for scalability.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of databases and querying languages (PostgreSQL preferred).
  • Exposure to workflow automation platforms (n8n, etc.).
  • Familiarity with system architecture, data embeddings, and APIs.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate customer requirements into technical solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, startup environments.
