Role: Solution Architect / Bid Proposal Writing Expert Clinical Domain

Function: Business Development / Pre-Sales / Clinical Solutions

Role Overview

We are looking for a Clinical Solution Architect and Bid Proposal Writing Expert to lead end-to-end RFP/RFI/RFQ responses across Clinical Data Management, Clinical Trial Management, and AI-enabled transformation initiatives.

This role combines:

  • Deep clinical operations and data expertise
  • Strong solution architecture and pre-sales capability
  • Exceptional proposal strategy and persuasive writing

The individual will design scalable, compliant, and technology-enabled clinical solutions and translate them into winning, high-quality proposals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Clinical RFP / RFI / RFQ Leadership

  • Own the complete bid lifecycle from qualification to submission.
  • Analyze clinical, technical, regulatory, and operational requirements.
  • Define win themes, differentiators, and transformation value propositions.
  • Ensure full compliance, accuracy, and on-time submission.
  • Coordinate SMEs across Clinical Operations, Data Management, Biostatistics, Safety, Regulatory, Digital, and AI teams.

2. Clinical Solution Architecture

  • Design end-to-end delivery models for:
  • Clinical Data Management (EDC, data review, reconciliation, coding, standards).
  • Trial Management (CTMS, monitoring models, RBQM, decentralized trials).
  • AI-enabled transformation (automation, predictive analytics, GenAI copilots, intelligent document processing).
  • Define target operating models, workflows, integration architecture, and governance.
  • Ensure alignment with GxP, data privacy, quality, and inspection readiness.
  • Provide effort estimation, resource model, pricing inputs, and timelines.

3. Proposal Strategy & Writing

  • Develop executive summaries, clinical methodologies, transition approaches, and innovation roadmaps.
  • Convert complex clinical and AI solutions into clear business value.
  • Tailor messaging for sponsors, biotech, procurement, and clinical leadership.
  • Maintain clinical proposal content libraries, accelerators, and reusable assets.
  • Apply structured storytelling and visual solution articulation.

4. AI & Digital Transformation in Clinical Trials

  • Shape proposals involving:
  • AI-assisted data review and medical coding
  • Predictive trial analytics and risk-based monitoring
  • Automation of TMF, safety, and document workflows
  • Generative AI for clinical study support
  • Define governance, validation, and responsible AI usage in GxP environments.

5. Stakeholder Engagement & Governance

  • Lead bid strategy workshops, reviews, and approval gates.
  • Partner with Sales, Delivery, Finance, and Legal for cohesive submissions.
  • Present solution architecture and value proposition to leadership and clients.
  • Support capture planning and pursuit shaping for strategic deals.

6. Continuous Improvement & Win Optimization

  • Track win/loss insights, evaluator feedback, and pricing competitiveness.
  • Improve clinical proposal frameworks, automation, and AI-assisted authoring.
  • Contribute to standardized offerings, transformation accelerators, and reusable architectures.

Required Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Biomedical Engineering, Health Informatics, or related field.
  • MBA or relevant certification is a plus.

Experience

  • 1018+ years in clinical research, clinical technology, pre-sales, or solution architecture.
  • Demonstrated success in winning complex clinical RFPs for CROs, sponsors, or clinical technology providers.
  • Strong exposure to Clinical Data Management, CTMS, RBQM, DCT, and AI in clinical trials.
  • Experience working in global, cross-functional bid environments.

Core Skills

  • Deep understanding of end-to-end clinical trial lifecycle.
  • Strong solution design, operating model definition, and pricing support.
  • Exceptional proposal writing, storytelling, and executive communication.
  • Knowledge of GxP, ICH, data integrity, and regulatory expectations.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent strategic bids under tight timelines.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with eClinical platforms, data standards, and clinical analytics ecosystems.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML, GenAI, automation, and digital transformation in regulated environments.
  • Exposure to risk-based monitoring, decentralized trials, and real-world data integration.
  • Bid or proposal management certifications.
