Role Overview

We're looking for a proactive and ownership-driven Solutions Architect with 3+ years of experience who can bridge business requirements and technical execution.

This is a client-facing, commercially-minded role—not a back-office architecture position. You'll work directly with founders and prospective clients to run discovery sessions, translate ideas into buildable solutions, create estimates and proposals, and guide projects from scoping through delivery.

Key Responsibilities

What you'll actually do:

• Join sales and discovery conversations with founders and prospective clients as the technical authority, helping shape requirements and define solutions
• Translate business ideas, challenges, and goals into practical, buildable MVP scopes and technical approaches
• Create estimates, proposals, solution roadmaps, and technical recommendations that help convert opportunities into successful engagements
• Own the client relationship throughout the technical lifecycle—setting expectations, managing scope, communicating trade-offs, and guiding decision-making
• Design scalable software architectures, workflows, integrations, APIs, and technology stack recommendations
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, implementation plans, and solution specifications
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to ensure successful execution and alignment
• Drive process improvements through automation, AI adoption, and modern engineering practices
• Take complete ownership of solution design, stakeholder communication, and technical decision-making from discovery through delivery

AI-First Expectations (Non-Negotiable)

We expect Solutions Architects to actively use AI tools for technical research, requirement analysis, documentation, solution design, automation, and decision-making. We're looking for candidates who continuously experiment with AI to improve the speed and quality of their work.

Requirements

• Have 3+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, Software Engineering, Technical Consulting, Product Engineering, Engineering Sales, Pre-Sales, or related roles
• Have experience in client-facing discovery, technical consulting, solution scoping, or pre-sales engagements
• Can translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and work closely with founders and customers to bring them to life
• Have a strong understanding of software architecture, APIs, databases, integrations, and modern application development
• Can communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Enjoy solving ambiguous business and technical problems
• Thrive in startup environments and take ownership without waiting for instructions
• Actively leverage AI tools to improve the quality and speed of your work
