Job Title: Software Engineering / Application Development Solution Architect

Role Overview

The Software Engineering / Application Development Solution Architect will lead the design and architecture of enterprise-grade digital and application development solutions across multiple technology stacks. The role involves collaborating with clients and delivery teams to translate business objectives into scalable, secure, and performance-optimized architectures.

You will act as a key technology advisor, providing thought leadership, technical direction, and solutioning expertise for pursuits, RFPs, and large-scale transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture design for enterprise application development and modernization initiatives.
• Partner with business, presales, and delivery teams to create technical proposals, architecture documents, and effort estimates.
• Drive technology assessments and recommend appropriate frameworks, platforms, and tools aligned to client needs.
• Define reference architectures and reusable solution components for microservices, APIs, cloud-native, and full-stack application development.
• Oversee implementation governance, ensuring adherence to design principles, scalability, security, and performance standards.
• Mentor engineering teams in adopting modern practices such as DevSecOps, CI/CD, containerization, and automated testing.
• Stay current with emerging trends in software engineering, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and AI-driven application development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 12–15 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture.
• Proven background in architecting solutions using modern application development frameworks (Java/.NET/Python, Node.js, Angular, React, etc.).
• Hands-on experience with microservices, RESTful APIs, and container-based architectures (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Strong understanding of cloud deployment architectures and services across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience defining technical solutions for complex enterprise applications and leading large cross-functional delivery teams.
• Proficiency in design patterns, system integration, performance optimization, and API management.
• Excellent communication and client engagement skills with the ability to present technical concepts to business stakeholders.
• Exposure to data-driven or AI-enabled applications is a plus.

Educational Background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Relevant technology or cloud certifications (e.g., AWS/Azure Architect, TOGAF) preferred.
