We are seeking an experienced and innovative Solution Architect / Senior Solution Architect specializing in Java with Cloud technologies, with 12 to 20 years of experience in IT and a solid background in solution or cloud architecture within enterprise environments. In this role, you will design and deliver secure, scalable and high-performing solutions, working closely with global teams to define architectural strategies, align with technical standards and drive technical excellence across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the development of cloud-native solutions using microservices and event-driven paradigms
- Define architectural standards, patterns and best practices for enterprise-scale engineering teams
- Design and implement solutions with technologies such as Kubernetes and service mesh tools like Istio
- Collaborate with global solution architecture, technology teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment with overarching technical strategies
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams, fostering best practices and knowledge sharing
- Drive performance optimization by leading performance testing and fine-tuning distributed systems
- Create and maintain architectural documentation using tools like Miro, Gliffy or Draw.io to convey technical designs effectively
- Lead cloud adoption, modernization and optimization initiatives for enterprise systems
- Align technology solutions with business objectives while addressing scalability, reliability and security requirements
- Evaluate emerging technologies and assess their application for solving business challenges
- Work closely with technical and product leaders to ensure successful solution delivery
Requirements
- 12 to 20 years of experience in IT with a solid background in solution or cloud architecture within enterprise environments
- Expertise in cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP in production settings
- Proven experience in designing end-to-end scalable architectures aligned with enterprise strategies
- Background in Finance and Risk systems, Central Services or Digital Assisted Channels
- Knowledge of implementing and reviewing solutions for mergers and acquisitions
- Competency in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines; familiarity with GitHub Actions is a plus
- Proficiency in tools like Miro, Gliffy or Draw.io for creating technical documentation and diagrams
- Strong ability to lead architectural discussions and influence technical decision-making at various levels
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
