We are seeking a skilled and visionary Solution Architect specializing in Networking and IT Security to design, implement, and oversee comprehensive network and security solutions. This role involves collaborating with clients to understand their needs, crafting tailored solutions, and ensuring the integration of advanced networking and security technologies. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in network architecture and security practices, along with the ability to drive successful implementations and offer strategic guidance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to gather detailed requirements and understand their business objectives.
- Assess existing network infrastructures and security postures to provide tailored recommendations.
- Develop robust and scalable network architectures that align with client needs and industry best practices.
- Design comprehensive security frameworks to protect client networks against various threats and vulnerabilities.
- Define implementation strategies and plans for deploying network and security solutions.
- Coordinate with implementation teams to ensure adherence to architectural designs and project timelines.
- Evaluate and recommend network and security technologies that meet client requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to provide innovative solutions.
- Oversee the integration of network and security solutions within client environments.
- Ensure seamless deployment of systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network components.
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing plans to validate the functionality, performance, and security of implemented solutions.
- Address any issues identified during testing and ensure solutions meet client specifications.
- Produce detailed documentation for network designs, security configurations, and implementation processes.
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions to ensure client teams understand and can effectively manage new systems.
- Ensure all solutions comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
- Implement best practices for network design, security, and management.
- Collaborate with project managers to oversee project progress, manage risks, and ensure timely delivery.
- Provide technical leadership and support to project teams and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate), CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional), CCIE (Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), or similar are preferred.
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in network engineering and IT security, with at least 4 years in a solution architect or similar role.
- Deep expertise in designing and implementing complex network architectures and security solutions.
- Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security technologies.
- Proven experience with network management and monitoring tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Willingness to travel as required to engage with clients and support project implementations.
