Solution Architect - Engineering

As a Solution Architect, you'll have an opportunity to work closely with customers and solve some very interesting problems by designing and implementing customized solutions for global customers. This role would require you to think and design custom solutions for customers across industries to help manage their ever-growing needs.

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The responsibilities are detailed as below:

• Develop proposals for design and implementation of scalable big data and cloud architecture

• Participate in customer workshops and present proposed solution

• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders in the ecosystem to the development of Big Data/Cloud/Analytics consulting frameworks

• Define common business and development processes, platform and tools usage for data acquisition, storage, transformation, and analysis

• Experience in developing ETL designs and data models for structured/ unstructured and streaming data sources

• Must have solid presales and opportunity development experience both for India and global customers with specialization in Analytics

• Must own discovery, bids & RFPs, solutioning, scope, estimations and independently drive opportunities to closure

• Must have exposure to Big Data Cloud and Digital Transformation landscape in Analytics/Data Science

• Work with customers and prospects to play a trusted advisor on Big Data/Cloud/Analytics RFP/RFQ

• Work with Marketing, HR & Training groups at MathCo with engineering strategy, content and implementation

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for individuals who are curious, excited about learning, and navigating through the uncertainties and complexities that are associated with growing a company. Some qualifications that we think would help you thrive in this role are:

• BE/BS/MTech/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience

• 8 to 12years of experience in presales/delivery of big data/cloud analytics solutions

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Understanding of any reporting tools such as Tableau, Qlikview or PowerBI

• Experience in client-driven large-scale implementation projects

• Experience in data migration to cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure)

• Basic knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as Python

• Experience with major big data technologies and frameworks including but not limited to Hadoop, MapReduce, Pig, Hive, HBase, Oozie, Mahout, Flume, ZooKeeper, MongoDB, and Cassandra

• Experience with analytics solutions developed in large cloud computing infrastructures such asAWS/GCP/Azure
