• As Solution Architect in TDI Private Bank Germany Lending you are responsible for the conception and definition of the technical solution design of our Lending IT platforms and provide guidance to the development areas to design, build, test, and deliver high quality software solutions

Your key responsibilities

• Support projects and initiatives in the lending area and provide guidance to the software delivery units to design, build, test, and deliver high quality software solutions in line with business requirements.
• Define the technical architecture of IT solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and legacy platforms (like IBM z/OS mainframe or SAP systems) in line with functional and non-functional requirements, following consistent design patterns and best practices including design of front ends, business logic, ReST-services, data persistence and interfaces to other domains.
• Ensure that the solution design is in sync with TDI Private Bank blueprints and principles, as well as with overarching DB architecture and security standards.
• Create appropriate solution proposals, design decisions and technical design documentation and ensure this is kept up to date, utilizing UML, Archimate, BPMN Tools.
• Serve as a counsel to designers and developers and carry out reviews of software designs and high-level / detailed-level design documentation.

Your skills and experience

• At least 3-4 years of experience and track record as a Solution Architect and/or Development Lead, preferred GCP/AWS Cloud Architect skills.
• Good technical skills regarding APIs and Microservices, JAVA, Java Spring Boot, Cloud Technology, containerization using Docker & Kubernetes and security (e.g., OAuth) and the ability to build up knowledge related to new technology / solutions in an effective and timely manner.
• Good experience on database (Preferrable Postgres & Oracle) - Data Modeling , House Keeping - Local Databank, ig Query
• Ability to learn and evolve our current heterogeneous landscape, special focus of integration patterns and migration projects towards GCP native use.
• Very good analytical skills and ability to oversee/structure complex tasks and ability/experience in defining the high-level and low-level technical solution designs for complex initiatives.
• Proven ability to balance business demands and IT capabilities in terms of standardization, reducing risk and increasing IT flexibility.
• Fluent in English language (written/verbal), German is considered an advantage, but no prerequisite.
• Good to have - GCP/AWS - Cloud certification.
