Job Description

Job Title : Solution Architect

Proposed Job Level: DGM

Function: BSGD

Location: Bangalore

Reporting to: Head – Business Solution Head

Purpose of the Job (Brief)

Background

BSG – Solution Architect responsible to support Sales team in terms of understanding and meeting customer's connectivity requirement right from the presales stage to the project execution stage.

Conceptualize & develop techno-commercial proposals & solutions, across verticals, using existing or new technologies
Consulting, Facilitation and Selling Skills
Design of profitable, optimal and replicable Technical Solutions
Technical Presentation to customers
Closely work with cross functional teams and stich solutions end to end
Technical Proposal creation - Analyze customer's price expectations, indicate technical options in optimized offering

Understanding customer's requirements

Building the solution, its deliverables as per customer specific requirements.

Proposal building

Making Proposal as per solution for customer needs
Revert within defined TAT

Customer presentation/Solution/ proposal

Presentation to customers on his requirements & understanding
Defining the scope of work in regard to Airtel deliverables – in-scope, out-of-scope etc

Standardization & automation

Standardization of product offering, solution and proposal documents.
Automation of standard proposal documents basis standard inputs variables customer requirements.

Prime: Solution Designing

Solution design
Product recommendation

Shared: Decisions made jointly with peers on a collective basis

Feasibility planning
Commercials

Contributory: Makes a major contribution to a decision or policy judgment reached by others

Techno-Commercial Proposal

D emonstrated (Key competencies)

Understanding technologies such as Ethernet, Wireless, various data applications requirements related to network and other emerging networking technologies and their commercial manifestations.

Educational Level

Must have: BE / Diploma in Computers, Electronics & Telecommunications/Information Technology / MBA in IT

Industry Certifications

CCNA, CCNP, CCDP or equivalent industry certification

Working Experience

Must have: Around 8 years experience in Telecom organization, pre-Sales.
