Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITOM Solution Architect specializing in Event Management to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale monitoring and event-driven operations solutions. This role requires deep expertise in architecting scalable, integrated event management ecosystems aligned with business services and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and own the end-to-end architecture for ServiceNow ITOM Event Management solutions
- Design scalable event ingestion, normalization, correlation, and noise reduction strategies
- Architect integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, SolarWinds, AppDynamics, and Zabbix
- Lead event correlation design using topology, CMDB, and service mapping data
- Establish best practices for alert aggregation, deduplication, and automated remediation
- Provide architectural guidance for ServiceNow MID Server deployment and scaling
- Align Event Management with Service Mapping, Discovery, and AIOps capabilities
- Collaborate with enterprise architects, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders
- Drive transformation from reactive monitoring to proactive and predictive operations
- Define governance, standards, and design patterns for ITOM implementations
- Conduct architecture reviews, solution validations, and performance optimizations
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Extensive experience with ServiceNow ITOM suite, especially Event Management
- Proven experience in solution architecture and large-scale ITOM implementations
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and observability frameworks
- Expertise in CMDB design, service mapping, and CSDM alignment
- Deep knowledge of integration patterns (REST, SOAP, webhooks, message queues)
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide API)
- Experience with hybrid infrastructure environments (on-prem, cloud, multi-cloud)
- Strong understanding of ITIL and IT operations processes
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or CIS–ITOM
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native monitoring
- Exposure to AIOps, machine learning–based event correlation, and predictive analytics
- Experience designing high-availability and resilient monitoring architectures
- Familiarity with DevOps and SRE practices
