Solar Site Engineer

With a strong presence across multiple cities and projects spanning over 60 MW capacity, WRS has built a reputation for reliable project execution, technical expertise, and customer-centric solutions.

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Site Engineer/In charge to oversee the execution of a MW scale solar power project in Maharashtra. The candidate will be responsible for on-site supervision, coordination with vendors, quality control, and ensuring timely completion of the project as per design and safety standards.

Responsibilities

Supervise and execute all site activities related to civil, structure, and electrical works of the solar project

Ensure installation of modules, structures, inverters, cables, and earthing systems as per approved drawings.

Monitor daily progress and maintain site activity reports (DPR).

Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and internal teams for smooth project execution.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain proper documentation at site.

Verify material quality, quantities, and ensure proper utilization

Identify and resolve site issues and provide immediate technical solutions.

Support testing & commissioning activities and ensure proper project handover.

Maintain all site records including checklists, reports, and work schedules.

Ensure project completion within timeline and budget

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.E. / B. Tech in Electrical/Civil Engineering.
• 25 years of experience in solar project execution (ground mounted MW-scale projects)
• Strong understanding of solar systems including modules, inverters, and BOS components
• Experience in handling site teams and contractors
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD, and reporting tools

Working Conditions

• Full-time site-based role at Nagpur/ Sambhaji Nagar/ Nashik
• Willingness to stay and travel at project site
