Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Solar Project Engineer with a strong background in residential and commercial solar PV projects. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end project execution, coordination, and technical oversight to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of solar installations.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and manage residential and commercial solar PV projects from design to commissioning
- Conduct site surveys and feasibility studies
- Prepare system designs, layouts, BOMs, and technical documentation
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, EPC teams, and subcontractors
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning activities
- Monitor project timelines, costs, and quality standards
- Troubleshoot technical issues and ensure system performance
- Prepare project reports, as-built drawings, and handover documents
- Support O&M teams during post-installation if required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in solar residential and commercial projects
- Strong knowledge of solar PV system design, components, and installation practices
- Familiarity with net metering, grid-connected systems, and safety standards
- Experience with AutoCAD/PVsyst or similar design tools (preferred)
- Good understanding of electrical drawings and single-line diagrams
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
