Role Description
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Solar Pre-Sales Manager for a full-time, on-site role located in Chennai. The role involves identifying prospective clients, understanding their renewable energy requirements, and creating customized solar energy solutions. Responsibilities include conducting site assessments, preparing proposals, and collaborating with clients to deliver tailored solutions. You will work closely with the sales and technical teams to support the conversion of leads into successful projects while ensuring client satisfaction throughout the process.
Qualifications
- Strong skills in customer engagement, client relationship management, and communication to identify and understand customer needs
- Experience in conducting site assessments, preparing technical proposals, and explaining solar energy solutions
- Knowledgeable in solar energy products, market trends, and technical aspects of solar power systems
- Project management skills including planning, organization, and lead management in the renewable energy sector
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office and CRM software
- Proven track record in pre-sales or sales roles within the renewable energy or related industries
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, renewable energy, or a related field is preferred
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with attention to detail
