Experience:
2–4 years of experience in solar project estimation, costing, or proposal preparation.
Qualification:
B.Tech / Diploma in Electrical / Renewable Energy / Relevant Technical Field.
Role Overview
The Solar Estimation & Proposal Specialist will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimations, BOQs, and client proposals for solar projects. This role plays a critical part in pre-sales by ensuring technically sound and commercially competitive proposals.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Estimation & Costing
- Prepare detailed project cost estimations for residential and commercial solar systems.
- Calculate BOQs including modules, inverters, structures, cables, and BOS items.
- Analyze project requirements and optimize cost without compromising quality.
Proposal Preparation
- Create professional client proposals, quotations, and presentations.
- Customize proposals based on client needs, site conditions, and system capacity.
- Include technical specifications, system design details, and ROI calculations.
Technical Coordination
- Coordinate with sales and technical teams for site data and requirements.
- Support pre-sales discussions with technical inputs and feasibility analysis.
- Ensure proposals align with actual execution capabilities.
Documentation & Analysis
- Maintain records of all proposals, estimations, and revisions.
- Track project costs vs. actual execution for improvement in estimation accuracy.
- Stay updated with market pricing of solar components and industry trends.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of solar PV systems and components.
- Good understanding of costing, BOQ preparation, and pricing strategies.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and proposal/document preparation.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Good coordination and communication skills.

10:00 AM – 6:30 PM
