We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Software Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications through thorough testing and validation.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements and design specifications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with software developers and product managers to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Perform regression testing, integration testing, and system testing as needed.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve software quality.
- Assist in the automation of testing processes and frameworks.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- Proficiency in testing tools and frameworks such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience with bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages like Java, Python, or C# is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
