Description
We are looking for freshers/entry-level candidates to join our team as Software Testers. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products through meticulous testing and collaboration with development teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop test cases and test plans for software applications.
- Execute test cases and report defects in the tracking system.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and ensure quality.
- Perform regression testing to ensure software quality after changes.
- Participate in daily stand-ups and sprint planning meetings.
- Document testing processes and results for future reference.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in testing processes and methodologies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Basic programming skills in languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and API testing.
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla) is a plus.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
