The ideal candidate will be involved in the testing of software applications to ensure quality and performance standards are met. Responsibilities
- Designing and executing test cases based on software requirements and design specifications.
- Identifying, recording, and tracking defects and issues to resolution.
- Developing and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks.
- Performing regression testing and performance testing as needed.
- Collaborating with developers and product managers to understand requirements and provide feedback on testability.
- Participating in code reviews and providing input on testability and software quality.
- Preparing and presenting test reports to stakeholders.
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Familiarity with automated testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG.
- Basic programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
