We are seeking freshers/entry-level candidates for the position of Software Tester in our dynamic team in India. This role involves testing software applications to ensure they meet quality standards and function as intended.
Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing test plans, test cases, and test scripts
- Executing manual and automated tests to ensure software functionality
- Identifying, documenting, and tracking defects
- Collaborating with developers to resolve issues and improve software quality
- Participating in the software development lifecycle and contributing to product design discussions
- Providing feedback on usability and functionality of applications
- Maintaining test documentation and reporting on testing progress
Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies
- Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG)
- Basic knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#)
- Understanding of web and mobile application testing
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and a passion for quality assurance
