PaperPlane is looking for a passionate tester responsible for testing and assessing quality for all existing and new features on our websites and applications.

Responsibilities:

Perform feature tests based on a thorough understanding of feature requirements and desired behavior with cross - browser compatibility testing.
Perform Responsive Testing on physical devices such as mobiles and tablets (IPad).
Identify and report general website bugs and other functional / usability issues in web applications and internal software tools to the development team.
Validate fixes and maintain clear and appropriate bug tracking documentation.
Write and execute test cases / scenarios to verify specifications.
Communicate clearly and efficiently with application developers and product owners through the reporting , validation , and resolution issues as and when required.
Desired Skills & Experience:
Certification in Software Testing is a must.
Must have experience in testing web applications.
Working knowledge of functional , GUI , Performance and Regression testing.
Solid understanding of QA procedures , principles , and tools.
Excellent verbal and written (technical) communication skills to explain bugs and other issues identified and produce bug reports , documentation , and feedback to both product owners and software developers.
Ability to work in an environment of perfection , compliance to web standards , and high design quality benchmarks.
Strong organisational and time management skills know what you need to do , and DO IT!
Proficient understanding of the software testing life cycle and process.
Ability to test web applications within deadlines.
Proficient in working in a collaborative working style.
