We are looking for an experienced ETL Tester / Software Tester who will be responsible for executing test cases, coordinating testing activities, and independently managing small testing projects.

Key Responsibilities
Test Planning & Strategy
- Analyze project requirements and define testing scope.
- Assist in developing test strategies, approaches, and test plans.
- Estimate testing effort for project deliverables.
- Perform impact analysis for changes and identify testing coverage.
Test Design & Development
- Design and develop test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts.
- Prepare test data and expected results.
- Develop scripts for:
- Product Testing
- Integration Testing
- Technical Testing
- Deployment Testing
- Maintain and enhance regression test suites.
Test Execution & Defect Management
- Execute test cases and document results.
- Log, track, and manage defects with proper severity and priority.
- Coordinate with development teams and vendors for issue resolution.
- Validate fixes provided by application teams.
Test Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate testing activities and support test case creation and execution.
- Manage test data and test environments.
- Provide accurate test status reports to stakeholders.
- Perform risk management and root cause analysis (RCA) for defects.
Automation & Continuous Delivery
- Support test automation initiatives.
- Validate application builds in CI/CD pipelines.
- Contribute to automated deployment validation processes.
Required Skills
Core Testing
- Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Experience in Integration Testing and Deployment Testing.
- Knowledge of ATDD and TDD practices.
- Experience with test management and defect tracking tools.
Data & ETL Testing
- Experience in Data & Analytics Testing.
- Strong SQL querying skills (SQL DB / PostgreSQL / Databricks).
- Experience validating ETL processes and data pipelines.
Azure Data Engineering Knowledge
- Basic understanding of:
- Azure Data Factory
- Linked Services
- SQL Database / PostgreSQL
- Azure Databricks
DevOps & Agile
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps (VSTS) and Git.
Good to Have
- Retail domain knowledge
- Exposure to Azure or AWS Data & Analytics platforms
- Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts
- Backend automation using Databricks
