Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into test cases and scenarios.
  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases, test scripts, and test data.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, system, UI, and exploratory testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects in a test management tool.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and SME to understand requirements and resolve issues.
  • Ensure compliance with QA standards, best practices, and testing methodologies.
  • Participate in test planning, effort estimation, and risk assessment.
  • Work closely with automation teams to identify areas for test automation.
  • Provide detailed test reports and defect metrics to stakeholders.

  • The ideal candidate will have8+ years of professional experience

Educational Qualification & Certifications (Optional):

  • bachelors or masters degree inComputer Science,Information Technology, or related field.

Must have:

  • 8+ years of experience in manual testing of web, mobile, or enterprise applications.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect lifecycle.
  • Experience in testing methodologies such as functional, regression, system, and UI testing.
  • Hands-on experience with test case management tools (eg, JIRA, TestRail, ALM).
  • Proficiency in defect tracking tools and test reporting.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret business requirements and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of SQL queries for database validation.
  • Basic understanding of API testing using tools like Postman (preferred).
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Manage all projects according to agreed timelines and report on progress.
