Job Title:Test Engineer / Senior Test Engineer – Banking Domain

Location: Mumbai

Experience: 2+ years

Industry: BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, Insurance)

Employment Type: Full-Time

Required Skills & Qualifications:-

• Experience: 2+ years of experience in API testing, specifically within the Payments or Banking domain.
• Domain Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of NPCI workflows (UPI, IMPS, NACH, AePS) or Card Network standards (Visa, Mastercard).
• Tools: Expert-level knowledge of Postman, Swagger, SoapUI, and JMeter.
• Scripting: Proficiency in Python, Java, or Javascript for automation.
• Technical Skills: Strong SQL (joins, data validation) and Linux/Unix command-line skills.
• Technical Education: BE/B Tech/MCA or equivalent experience.

Key Responsibilities

• NPCI Certification Testing: Drive end-to-end certification testing (UPI 2.0, Collect, Pay, Mandate, Refunds) and interact with NPCI simulators.
• API Validation: Test REST/SOAP APIs, verifying request/response payloads, headers, status codes, and JSON/XML validation.
• Defect Tracking: Log, track, and manage defects through JIRA or similar tools to resolution.
