Job Summary
We are looking for a Software Test Engineer with experience in the Ivalua platform to support testing across procurement modules. The role involves test planning, execution, defect tracking, and validation of end-to-end procurement workflows.
Key Responsibilities
1. Test Planning & Preparation
- Understand core Ivalua modules:
- Sourcing
- Contract Management
- Supplier Management
- Procurement
- Invoicing
- Review user stories, functional specs, and acceptance criteria
- Prepare test scenarios and test cases for standard functionalities
- Identify and manage test data requirements
- Perform data mapping and dataset preparation
2. Test Execution
- Execute manual testing including:
- Functional Testing
- Regression Testing
- Integration Testing
- Bug Testing
- Exploratory Testing
- Scenario-based Testing
- Log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA / Ivalua Issue Management
- Maintain proper documentation of test results
3. Ivalua-Specific Responsibilities
- Validate configurations such as:
- Supplier Profiles & Catalog Items
- Purchase Requisitions (PR) & Purchase Orders (PO)
- Approval Workflows & Sourcing Events (RFQ/RFP)
- Contract Management & Meeting Modules
- Goods Receipt / Returns
- Perform validations on:
- Business rules
- Field mappings
- Templates and forms
- Execute end-to-end:
- Procure-to-Pay (P2P)
- Source-to-Contract (S2C) flows
- Verify access control and authorization
- Basic awareness of:
- EAI & ETL processes in Ivalua
- GenAI concepts
4. Collaboration & Reporting
- Collaborate with functional consultants, developers, and business users
- Provide daily status updates and highlight risks/blockers
- Document test outcomes and support different testing phases
Required Skills & Qualifications
Technical Skills
- Basic understanding of the Ivalua Procurement Platform
- Knowledge of STLC and defect lifecycle
- Experience with test management tools like JIRA and X-Ray
- Proficiency in Confluence
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets for test data
- Understanding of procurement concepts:
- PR, PO, Invoicing, Catalog, Sourcing, Contracts, Auctions
- Awareness of SC3
